Davis – Baseball – Senior

The pitcher/first baseman capped his high school career with a Sac-Joaquin Section Division I championship to go along with the Div. I North title and a pair of Delta Valley Conference crowns (2012, 2103). The Blue Devils won all three of their ace’s postseason starts as Trask allowed just 14 hits and 3 earned runs in 19 innings. The UCLA-signee pitched seven innings in the team’s playoff opener, an extra-inning victory over Granite Bay before tossing six no-hit innings of striking out six in a 6-1 win over Rocklin. In the opening game of the Div. I championship series against St. Mary’s-Stockton, Trask allowed just two earned runs in six innings and contributed a double and 3 RBI to his own cause.

IN HIS OWN WORDS: “Coach (Dan) Ariola has been my coach since Day One. When I first moved to Davis at age 7, he was my Little League coach. It was an amazing feeling to win with a coach and team that I grew up playing with.”

WHAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW: Trask is a gamer on the baseball field as well as in his own room. The pitcher trades in his glove and bat for his PlayStation 4 and headset to regularly compete in online video games like Call to Duty.
