Chapter is Sending Tiffany Cha and Ardin Lo to The Nature Valley First Tee Open…
The Nature Valley First Tee Open is an official Champions Tour event, the first of its kind, in which junior golfers from chapters of The First Tee play alongside Champions Tour players. Eighty-one juniors are paired with 81 champions tour players and 162 amateurs as they compete for the pro-junior title at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course. The event will take place September 22-27 and the tournament will be televised internationally on The Golf Channel.
Ardin Lo and Tiffany Cha of The First Tee of the Tri-Valley were chosen by a national selections committee for this once in a lifetime experience. “We are extremely proud of Ardin and Tiffany. They are model participants and volunteers in our chapter, always finding ways to display the core values and life skills we teach everyday,” Executive Director of TFTTV, Andrew Zeller stated. “We are confident they will represent our chapter well.”

… and Five More to the Nor Cal Academy! The First Tee offers a variety of participant opportunities for teens in the upper levels of programming. One of these opportunities is the Northern California Chapters Leadership Academy which is being held this year in Monterey August 2nd- 6th. The Tri-Valley chapter is excited to be sending Julius Bondoc, Annika Borrelli, Alexandra Hauck, Vishnu Kalidas, and Catherine Phillips. They will be attending breakout sessions on life skills, leadership traits, and healthy habits. They will also play Del Monte and Poppy Hills as well as tour CSU Monterey Bay. |
