Dan Ashley’s 21st Annual Friends of Camp Concord Golf Tournament raises funds to send underserved kids to a week of camp at Camp Concord in South Lake Tahoe. It’s an excellent and worthy cause, so get involved and support these community kids.
While at camp, the youth experience fun-filled camp traditions such as canoeing, crawdad fishing, archery, hiking volleyball, swimming, horseback riding, skits and of course campfires. Included with a camp scholarship is transportation from the Bay Area, accommodations in Camp Concord’s rustic cabins and three meals a day. For many youth, the camp scholarship received from Friends of Camp Concord provides their only way to experience the great outdoors and camaraderie with their peers.
The tournament takes place Monday October 2nd at Crow Canyon Country Club, Danville. Foursomes – at $1200 – include player entries, breakfast, drinks on course, lunch and post-golf reception with dinner and auction.
Camp Concord is celebrating its 50th year.
