Lauren Pak (Fy./Moraga, Calif./Campolindo) averaged 12.0 assists per set, tops in the MIAC last week, in helping the Carleton College volleyball team to a pair of victories. Also, in recognition of that performance, she was selected as the MIAC’s Volleyball Athlete-of-the-Week for Oct. 9-15. It is her first career conference weekly award.

Pak posted a career-best total for a four-set match with 44 assists in the win over Hamline University on Wednesday. She followed that up with 40 assists, her new career-best for a three-setter, in a Friday sweep of Martin Luther College. Pak added 2.86 digs per set and posted a .308 attack percentage during the two home matches.
In addition, Pak ranks fifth in the MIAC and second among conference rookies with 8.84 assists/set this season. That figure also ranks her 18th among first-years in Division III. She trained and played for Diablo Valley Volleyball Club.
