Figure Skaters from Across the Nation Arrive in Roseville for the Gold Rush Dance and Showcase on Ice, March 17-18 at Skatetown Ice Arena.
Figure Skaters:
Capital City Figure Skating Club (CCFSC) and Placer Valley Tourism are gearing up for the Gold Rush Dance and Showcase Ice figure skaters competition taking place on March 17 and 18.
This event will be held at Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville bringing more than 100 competitive figure skaters of all ages to Placer Valley.
“This year is the eighteenth year for the Gold Rush Showcase. We have 105 individual skaters coming from 15 different US Figure Skating Clubs across the nation,” stated CCFSC’s President Denise Soroka.
“We are thrilled that the National Solo Dance Series will also be included in this showcase. Which is a US Figure Skating sanctioned event.
Only a few competitions in each region are allowed to host the dance event. So, it is really quite an honor,” added Soroka.
From the elegant costumes to the beautifully executed routines this showcase is one you won’t want to miss!
On Saturday, March 17 the competition is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
They will return to the rink on Sunday, March 18 around 8 a.m. With the competition wrapping up around 3 p.m.
