Lindenwood Takes High Point Award at US Senior National Championships
Lindenwood University won the High Point Team award Sunday as the U.S. Senior National Championships concluded at the Oro Valley Aquatic Center. Santa Clara’s Kate Chow was the High Point Individual winner.
Lindenwood won the team final with 82.1000 points, followed on the podium by Santa Clara (79.6000) and a second Lindenwood squad (78.6667).
Scottsdale Synchro’s Alyson Haylor took gold in the solo final with 80.2333 points.
Lindenwood University Swimmers:
Lindenwood swimmers grabbed the next spots as Kyra Hoevertsz won silver with 80.2000 points. While, teammate Marialaura Villasana earned bronze at 79.6333.
In the duet final, Scottsdale’s Xinya Zhang and Haylor took first place with 81.0000 points to edge Lindenwood’s Sarlota Lukovysky and Villasana, who finished with 80.5667 points.
Kate Chow and Kaitlyn Hoang of Santa Clara were third at 75.3000.
Santa Clara won the combo final, finishing with 80.2667 points, and the Arizona Desert Dolphins were second at 72.000.
