Webster’s defines “synchronize” this way: harmonize, mesh, integrate… they come closer to our way of thinking with “pool”. Perhaps ol’ Mr. Webster just never saw the Walnut Creek Aquanuts synchronize to their swimming routines like we have!
We call it EXCELLENCE!
And 2018 marks 50 years of excellence for the Walnut Creek Aquanuts.
Labor Day Weekend the club will showcase their annual synchronized swimming show to commemorate 50 years of excellence in The Creek.
The evening performance at Clarke Memorial Swim Center showcases synchronized swimming in a theatrical format complete with lights, props, a 3-D stage and glittering costumes.
The show features a jumbo screen as a back drop to enhance the special effects as the Aquanuts synchronize their routines to music and lights.
The show runs Thursday through Sunday with doors opening at 7:00 pm. Performances begin at 8:00pm. It’s truly a magical evening under the stars.
Food, beer and wine bar will be available for purchase. It’s like an evening at the theater with appreciative audiences fully enjoying the talented entertainers.
Tickets will be sold at the door, and online HERE. Tickets bought online are good for any of the nights. General admission is only $20 (ages 6-61), Seniors is $15 (62+) , and children 5 and under are FREE.
The Aquanuts run recreational programs year-round and “Try-It” Days through the end of September.
And the trainees from the Aug 6-30 summer program get to perform in the Fall Shows.
For more information on WCA’s recreational programs and to purchase tickets to the Fall Show go to www.aquanuts.org.
