Congrats to Heritage Sr. Delia Scott who takes SportStar of the Week honors
Softball pitcher Delia Scott’s stellar senior season picked up a little more shine on May 17 when the Patriots ace delivered a no-hitter in a 5-0 shutout of Carondelet-Concord in a North Coast Section Division I quarterfinal.
Scott allowed just three base runners in her gem.
Also, Julia Barnett had a pair of RBIs in the win as No. 2-seeded Heritage improved to 24-2 and advanced to the semifinal against California-San Ramon.
The Patriots are seeking their first title.
