Alexsandra Alvarado continues to show up big! She closed out 2019 by earning the MVP Award for the West Coast Jamboree Diamond Division. this was in the Pride’s biggest games- when it really counts!
Alvarado scored 22 points in a Jan. 11 showdown with St. Joseph Notre Dame-Alameda. She grabbed seven rebounds and also added three steals.
Salesian came up short in the game, 68-60, but it was only the team’s second loss of the season. Salesian’s Alvarado and the Pride took a 13-2 overall record into MLK Weekend in which they had games against La Jolla Country Day-La Jolla and Bear Creek-Stockton.
