Male volleyball athletes in the Bay Area and Sacramento and nearing locations can look forward to a series of tournaments slated for this fall. NCVA announced details for its 2024/2025 Boys Power League, with athletes able to register now until September 3.
Through the Northern California Volleyball Association’s (NVCA) Power League, players have the opportunity to showcase their skill and athleticism in competitive tournaments.
While the locations vary through Bay Area and Sacramento locations, all the tournaments are held in Convention Centers.
Here’s Everything Volleyball Athletes Need To Know About the Power League.
DEADLINE
The deadline to enter the Power League is quickly approaching on September 3, 2024. Teams must complete registration by 5 p.m. However, teams have until September 9, 2024 to submit their roster.
COST
The same is true for payments. The cost for the 2024-2025 Boys Power League is $1500 per team. Payment for the fall tournament league must be made by the registration deadline on Tuesday, September 3.
Dates And Location
While sites and dates are subject to change, the NCVA updated the Boys Power League Schedule to include the Qualifier tournament for September 14 and 15. The tournament is for boys ages 12, 13/14, 15/17, and 17/18 divisions.
It is set for the @the Grounds located at 700 Event Center Drive in Roseville, CA. There is a parking fee of $10 for all vehicles and wristbands are required. Guest wristbands are available online. Those who pre-purchase the wristbands can pick them up directly from the pickup window to avoid lines the day of.
Hotel accommodations are recommended at Placer County Hotels.
League #1 is set for October 5 at the San Meteo Event Center located at 1346 Saratoga Drive in San Mateo, CA. The Oct. 5 tournament for 14/13 and 18/17 divisions. October 6 is the date for the 12, and 16/15 divisions, also at the San Mateo Event Center.
The League #2 tournament of the Power League is scheduled for October 19 for the 12 and 16/15 divisions, again at the @the Grounds in Roseville. On October 20 the tournament is set for the 14/13 and 18/17 divisions also at the same location.
League #3 is scheduled for November 2 and 3, both days back @the Grounds in Roseville. The division competing on Nov. 2 is 14/13 and 18/17. The following day hosts the 12 and 16/15 divisions.
The NCVA Boys Power League ends with the Region Championship set to take place at the San Jose Convention Center on November 16 and 17.
