Heritage SC Tops Division at State Soccer Cup Finals

State Soccer Cup Finals Concludes Over Weekend in Modesto.

With more than 1,500 teams participating in over 10,000 matches throughout all of NorCal from September 2017 to February 2018, the championship matches for the younger State Soccer Cup were ready.

While the sun set on some teams’ chances for the championship matches on February 3rd, 10th, and 11th, 170 teams advanced to the championship weekend at Mary Grogan Soccer Complex in Modesto.

The State Soccer Cup Final matches in the top division were:

February 24th

U11 Boys Field 7 at 10:45 a.m. — Heritage 07 Boys 2 – Diablo FC Premier 1  *Heritage took top honors

U13 Boys Field 2 at 12:30 p.m. — CenCal Cosmos Grey 3 – Force Academy II 0

U12 Girls Field 5 at 12:45 p.m. — San Juan Spirits Pre ECNL 4 – Rocklin FC Navy 0

Feb 25th

U11 Girls Field 5 at 10:45 a.m. — IR Academy Purple 2 – Stockton Storm Academy Lightning 1

U12 Boys Field 7 at 12:45 pm — EC Real Salinas Madrid 4 – Montclair Clippers Red 2

U13 Girls Field 2 12:30 p.m. — San Juan Spirit ECNL 1 – California Odyssey (Torossian) –

(San Juan wins on kicks from the mark).

About HSC State Soccer Cup Finals success:

U11 boys team won State Cup…  1^st place in NorCal State Cup- State Division.

U11 girls came in 1^st in the Premier 6 Division and U12 boys came in 1^st in the Premier 3 Division.

(The Premier division is a level below the State Division.)
