Hoop Review Releases 2017 Showcase Schedule

Hoop Review is a scouting service that over 200 colleges and universities subscribe to and it is run by Gerry Freitas, a former college coach. Freitas produces evaluations and reports of high school and junior college prospects throughout the western US that are sent to the colleges and universities to assist in their recruiting process.

Hoop Review also produces a series of events throughout California to help facilitate the scouting process and give players additional exposure to colleges and universities. Every Hoop Review event has a post-event report that is posted on this site as well as here at SportStars.

Here’s the 2017 showcase line up:

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

March 26:                    So Cal Senior Showcase at Cerritos College, Norwalk

April 8-9:                    So Cal Spring Tip Off at Next Level Sports Complex, Garden Grove

*April 21-23:              So Cal Hoop Review at Next Level Sports Complex, Garden Grove

*July 21-22:                So Cal Juco Shootout at Cerritos College, Norwalk

September 15-17:        So Cal Fall Juco Jamboree at Cerritos College, Norwalk

 October 1:                  Sports Academy Competition Clinic at Sports Academy, Thousand Oaks

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

*April 28-30:              Nor Cal Spring Showcase at Jamtown, Oakland

May 27-29:                  Bay Area Memorial Day Classic at various sites

July 8:                         Nor Cal Summer Preview at San Francisco City College

*July 13:                     Nor Cal Junior College Jamboree at Skyline College

*July 14-15:                Nor Cal Summer Tip Off at San Francisco City College

August 27:                   Nor Cal Clash All-Star Game at Contra Costa College
