Del Oro, Granite Bay, Whitney, Rocklin, Roseville, Oakmont and Woodcreek are among the local high schools represented. Several travel teams come in from Oregon to Fresno.

Both weekends utilize five locations each to accommodate this considerably-sized tournament. Sierra College Aquatics Complex, Del Oro, Whitney, Rocklin and Rio Linda high school’s pools will keep a steady flow going.

Games are scheduled to start by 7 a.m. on each day and continue well into the evenings.

“This is the 25th year of the girl’s tournament and the 15th year for the boy’s,” commented Decker.  “When it first started, there were only eight girls teams participating. It has grown substantially and it’s now become one of the most popular high school water polo tournaments anywhere!”

“We are proud of the tournament as it has helped expand water polo in Oregon and California, especially for girls,” added Decker. “We’d love fans to come on out both weekends to check out the exciting action!”

Admission is free and the competition promises to be fierce! Mark your calendars and come see these talented student athletes battle it out in the pools!
