Jogology socks combine comfort, support, and quality to keep runners moving with confidence.
It may be a small but mighty piece of running gear, but socks can make or break a run.
While we often focus on the best running sneakers, socks are equally important for preventing blisters and hot spots. Runners who keep their feet happy during workouts are able to run faster and longer.
And when it comes to cruising miles during runs, it is Jogology running socks that go the distance—especially when it comes to comfort.
In this review, Youth Runner has taken a closer look at Jogology running socks, measuring just how well they perform in real-world running conditions.
DESIGN And STYLE
We took out the “No Show” option for testing, with packaging including a left and right anatomical shape to enhance the fit. These socks are made to cradle the curve of the heel, covering it well so that the skin isn’t rubbing and inducing friction against the back of the sneaker, while also staying in place for the duration of the run to prevent slipping.
It has a snug fit without feeling too tight. Think less snug than a compression sock, but has all these lines and fabric patterns that keep the feet secure and supported. The Jogology socks also have great arch support. We can imagine these would be a great option for preventing plantar fasciitis flair ups.
These socks are available in various color options for black to white, to more colorful options like mint and peach with a fun color block design. This makes them a stylish pair with its low profile that slightly peeks over the sneaker, but the company also sells crew cuts for those who prefer that look.
An added bonus is no line for the toe box, which will be discussed more in the “comfort” section below.
COMFORT
After running for years across all seasons and distances, the Jogoolgy running socks are among the most comfortable options on the market.
What really sets these socks apart is the level of cushion—and the level of quality of that cushioning—offered. Athletes can opt for low, medium, or high cushion, with each delivering on plushness without ever feeling bulky or too thick.
The Jogology low cushion option is said to feel like a “second skin,” and this is an accurate description. These go unnoticed while sprinting, yet you can still feel the slight cushion that hugs the arches.
What’s cool about these socks is the te box protection pad that includes extra coverage for the big toe. The toes aren’t rubbing or hitting against the toe box of the shoe.
The medium cushion option is the Goldilocks of the bunch. If new to Joogoly and are not sure which comfort level to purchase, start here. These are ideal for mid-distance runners for the amount of light cushion under the heel and toe.
Surprisingly, the high cushion is a top-tier performer, not just for long runs. While this is a go-to for longer mileage, we found that these are great when running back-to-back days with shorter distances. These are plush and even have cushioning on the arch support band.
While we prefer the low-cushion option for spring and summer runs, the high-cushion would be great for winter runs for that added thickness.
FUNCTION and PERFORMANCE
What’s great about the Jogology high cushion No sock is that, though there is no shortage of luxurious cushion on the sole, the feet aren’t sweaty when wearing these during workouts. This is thanks to mesh ventilation panels that promote airflow, combined with moisture-wicking fabric that keeps the feet dry.
The Jogology socks perform extremely well because they are made by runners. This means no slipping or falling down into the sneaker, while being so lightweight without sacrificing comfort.
Despite the arch support, no pressure marks are left, so the feet aren’t feeling suffocated. The big toe protection is a game-changer when considering running socks.
No blisters developed when breaking in a new pair of sneakers. Our feet were left happy no matter the distance or weather. These also wash and dry well, built for the long haul.
If comfort and durability matter to you, Jogology socks are a solid addition to any runner’s gear drawer for gym bag.
