   Almost 40 athletes (two junior teams and two 13-15 teams from Santa Clara Aquamaids attended the 2014 West Zone Synchronizing Swimming Championship at Mesa, Arizona from March 6th to March 9th.  Aquamaids entered the meet with two junior teams (8 swimmers), two 13-15 teams, one junior combo (10 swimmers), two 13-15 combos, one senior solo, 5 junior solos , 4 junior duets,  eight 13-15 solos and five 13-15 duets.  

   Aquamaids have pretty much dominated the podium with Golds on teams, combos, duets and solos routines across both junior and 13-15 group.  All the girls worked very hard and Aquamaids also received the high point awards for the club!

Top 3 SCA Awards for each routine are as following:

  • Senior Solo 1st
  • Junior Duet 1st   3rd
  • Junior Solo 1st
  • Junior Combo 1st
  • Junior Team 2nd
  • 13-15 Solo     1st  2nd   3rd
