No Guts! No Glory!

Wrestlers know that a little blood, a lot of sweat and few tears are what all good tournaments are made of and the No Guts! No Glory! Wrestling Tournament is no exception.  Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the 2015 installment promises to be the best one yet.  Hosted by Natomas High School and Placer Valley Tourism, this exciting event will take place at the Hardwood Palace in Rocklin on Dec.  27, 29 and 30.

First up on Sunday, Dec. 27 is the youth wrestlers featuring athletes as young as five-years-old up to middle school ages.  Then on Tuesday and Wednesday the high school girl’s and boy’s junior varsity and varsity teams will take center stage making the No Guts! No Glory! tournament one of the largest combination wrestling tournaments on the west coast.

Currently there are more than 40 teams confirmed that are coming from all over California and parts of Nevada.  Locally Roseville, Woodcreek, Whitney and Antelope High School will be represented.  The competition will be fierce with several state champions and qualifiers registered to compete.

Special awards will be given to champions this year in honor of the tournaments 10th anniversary as well as medals for top placers in each division.  They will also have awards for Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
