#1 Ranked U15 West Coast Wild Win State Cup Final!

The U15 Wild have been ranked #1 in the state since August of last year (8 months) so winning state cup is the icing the cake to what has been a fantastic season!!

West Coast Soccer has developed the Wild team to become one of the best in the Nation.  Last season the Wild took 2nd place in the National Championship in Chicago Ill and are looking forward to going to Colorado for the National Finals once again with their big sister team Kryptonite to take the title this year!

Wild faced Diablo FC on Cinco de Mayo for the State Cup Final.  Both teams displayed superior skill and athleticism worthy of a State Cup final.

West Coast proved to much to handle though as Miciah Madison collected a perfect pass from Demi Gonis and slotted a shot past Diablo FC goalkeeper to put team Wild on the board. With a 1-0 lead going into the second half Wild would be instructed by coach Dayak to switch their formation adjusting to Diablo aggressive thrusts, Wild’s tactical formation transition stiffened the oppositions attack and Kasidee Wiley took a pass from Melissa Ellis and struck a perfectly placed shot in the corner of the net putting the Wild up by two. Diablo tried to put some attack together but it was clear that the Wild #1 defense was not going to budge.

The Wild’s Defense was led by team captains Megan Amick and Emilie Allum, with the amazing efforts from GK Amanda Valentine, Miciah Madison, Jacey Luzzi and Autumn Smithers who shut down Diablo FC super star forwards. The battle in the midfield was dominated by West Coast players Tori Nicolo, Carleigh Hufana, Rachel Tungol, Demi Gonis,Kamie Lipman & Sydni Lunt.

West Coast Wild has rapidly become one of the most revered U15 teams in the state, region and nation.  Tryouts for the U15 Wild (State Cup Champions) & U15 Wicked (Silver Cup Finalists) are on Saturday May 11^th from 8:30 -10pm at Livermore High School.
