USA Synchro announced its U.S Open squad and three other national synchronized swimming teams following the final stage of trials in Walnut Creek, California. During this event, the very best synchronized swimmers in the USA, including 16 swimmers from the Walnut Creek Aquanuts, competed for spots the national teams that will represent the United States in major international competitions, including the Pan American Games and World Championships.
Eleven Walnut Creek Aquanuts were selected to represent the United States on the National Teams: Ava Jih-Schiff ( Danville), Morgan Boneberg (Clayton), McKinzie Chelberg (St Paul, MN), Alexa Tchekmarev (Troy, MI), Jamie Kuchan(Mesa, AZ), Natalie Fletcher (Concord), Dana Drury (Walnut Creek), Daria Torba (Orinda), Karina Boyle (Walnut Creek), Gillian Brassil (Moraga), and Sandra Ortellado (Walnut Creek).
