Challenges. We face them at every level of sports “” and youth sports faces challenges of many kinds – especially funding.
That’s why SportStars continually endeavors to expand its reach and offer our help. The magazine has one of the lowest ad rate costs of any major sports media in the counrty. And, we support teams, leagues and schools both tangibly and financially!
Among the many support efforts we identified this year, one stands out as uber significant. We were instrumental in getting interscholastic sports initiated at 9 middle schools in the Bay Area. To our amazement, that program had been cut due to budgets over 30 years ago! SportStars – with other community partners and financial supporters – got it back! And it re-launched this Fall. Nine schools, 6 teams and 4 sports each, positively affecting over 1,600 student athletes! Your Donations Matter!
