John put on his own personal shooting clinic, and he did on the biggest stage. The Cal Poly-bound swingman tied a CIF Division I State Championship record with six 3-pointers en route to a game-high 23-points as the Mustangs won their first state title. John hit his first five 3-point attempts, all in the first period, and finished 6 of 8 from behind the arc. He also added six rebounds in the 66-55 win over Centennial-Corona.

IN HIS OWN WORDS: “I was really just able to move well without the ball, and my great teammates were able to find me get me the ball. I got good looks and the shots just went down.”
