Jim’s a TOP 50 Master Kids Teacher. He was the Youth Golf Academy “Coach of the Year 2012”. Not a bad option to learn the game and improve your technique.

A new Elite program that includes coaching cadets on the course has attracted many very competitive players from all over the East Bay. These “cadets” as Jim calls them, have been performing well in US Kids tournaments and several have won in their respective age categories. They also facilitate monthly 18- and 9-hole tournaments to prepare athletes for tournament play.

Golf Strong focuses on improving life skills by teaching cadets to be on time for practice and tournaments, to listen attentively, provide feedback, complete group projects pertaining to rules, etiquette, history, and promoting the game of golf. “Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our students through the game of golf.”

The San Ramon Golf Academy prepares athlete to perform their best on their Varsity High School and JV teams and Middle School teams. The Program focuses on increasing strength, stability, and mobility by facilitating a wide variety of exercises using the TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) model. Bi-weekly practices include swing technique, short game fundamentals, putting, bunker play, and a state of the art fitness station. Every one of our Varsity and Elite Cadets made their respective High School teams in 2016. Your heard it!

Course Benefits For Parents
Participating cadets receive a large basket of range balls per day, unlimited play on the course after 12:00 pm during regular time and after 1:00 pm during daylight savings time. The kicker? Parents only pay 50% of the green fee when playing with the cadet. (Carts are optional at regular rates).
