The SportStar of the Week award goes to… Nick Kresnak, Acalanes-Lafayette – Baseball – Senior
Nick Kresnak will close his summer out in style next week when he joins 28 of Northern California’s best-rising senior baseball players at the prestigious Area Code Baseball Games showcase in Long Beach.

Kresnak is No Stranger to Accolades
Committed to Washington, Kresnak is coming off a junior season in which he earned SportStars All-NorCal honors after hitting .366, with a team-best 30 hits.
He was also a major presence on the mound, posting a 6-2 record and 1.09 ERA for the 23-3 Dons. The Area Code Games are played from Aug. 5-9.
After that, Kresnak will shelve the bat and leather for three months while he quarterbacks the Acalanes football team.
Junior infielder and pitcher, Nick Kresnak, had a team-best 30 hits while also going 6-2 on the mound.
