Mira Costa at Nike Portland XC

Mira Costa High School represented well in all races last Saturday at Blue Lake Park in the Nike Portland XC Invitational. Dalia Frias ran 17:14.0 for 3rd place in a super competitive race including the top-ranked runners in the country. With about 800 meters to go Kate Peters, who had been running with Dalia and 2nd place runner Riley Steward of Cherry Creek, made a move to win the race in 16:40.9. Riley’s time was 16:43.7.
