It’s the first time the U.S. men’s soccer team has been on an Olympic field since 2008, but it’s off to the 2024 Paris Games they go.

Head coach Marko Mitrović announced the roster of the U.S. men’s Olympic soccer team on Monday which includes 18 players plus four alternates. The players come from 15 clubs—nine of those from Major League Soccer. While the are eight athletes that play football overseas on the roster, 12 states from U.S. soil are represented on the roster.

The lineup of soccer players on Team USA are as follows:

The team includes a roster of players that are mostly under the age of 23, with the exception of three players. These “over-age” soccer players include Walker Zimmerman, Miles Robinson, and Djordje Mihailovic.

Zimmerman most notably started in three and played all four matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup as part of the U.S. team.

Benjamin Cremaschi is the youngest player on the roster at age 19.

The men’s soccer team did not qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games, or the 2016 and 2012 Olympics. However, when they did compete in 2008 they finished in ninth place.

The U.S. men’s soccer team will practice ahead of the Paris Games at FC Girondins de Bordeaux in Bordeaux from July 9-20. It will compete in its first 2024 Olympic match against France on Wednesday, July 24 at Stade de Marseille in Marseille.
