LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 30, 2013) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce its seventh annual High School Senior All-America Team for boys’ volleyball.
This year’s group of 20 student-athletes represents 16 high schools from seven different states. Mira Costa High School leads all schools with two AVCA First-Team All-Americans and one Second-Team All-American. Loyola High School of Los Angeles and Palos Verdes High School are second with two AVCA All-Americans. Only players in their high school senior season whose high school head coaches are AVCA members were eligible for nomination.
The AVCA Boys’ High School Senior All-America Committee consists of: Neiad Ammary, Liberty High School (Pa.); Doug Manning, University of New Mexico (formally Deltona High School); Bill Schreier, Wheaton Warrenville South High School (Ill.); Rhonda Low, Cathedral High School (Ind.); Bruce Honberger, Granite Bay High School (CA); Michael Boehle, Loyola High School of Los Angeles (CA); Matt Marrujo, Servite High School (CA); David Starin, Londenderry High School (NH).
