Leo Young, from Newbury Park High School, was the first American through the line at Saturday’s U20 Men’s race at the World XC Championships. The course at Bathurst, Australia was brutal with plenty of hills, turns, hay bales, and tires to navigate through.

Leo was 16h, Marco Langon 19th, Max Sannes was 21st, and Kole Mathison was 25th.

The men’s team was stoked with their bronze team finish. This video is a repost from LetRun.com via YouTube from the media zone after the race.

Youth Runner photographer Steve Klotz was on site to capture the race.
