Hi-Top Hoops Buzzer Beater Starts Summer Tournaments

Temperatures are rising this summer outside and also on the court. That’s because Saturday is the start of Hi-Top Hoops’ inaugural summer session of its new elite tournament series.
Called the Las Vegas Buzzer Beater, this basketball tournament is scheduled from July 11-14. Held at the Doolittle Community Center gym and other great facilities in the area of Las Vegas, Nevada, this tournament is set to bring out the best youth basketball players.
And it’s not just bragging rights they are seeking. The winning team in the top bracket will be presented with an award. There are also individual awards to be given to players on the championship team in each division and bracket.
The Buzzer Beater tournament is open to boys 9U or in the 3rd grade to 17U up to11th grade. For girls, players 11U or the 5th grade to 17U, 11th grade can participate. Teams must bring proof of age and grade.
Boys are scheduled to play July 11-14, and girls from July 12-15. Teams who register have a four-game guarantee.
Unsigned seniors are welcome. Recruiters are known to watch the Hi-Top Hoops tournaments, so make sure to show up and bring your A-game. Hi-Top Hoops is all about being a platform to showcase young players and their talent. The organization has an alumni roster of neatly 500 current and former NBA players. Needless to say, these widely-attended events can change the life of a young athlete.
Hi-Top Hoops Buzzer Beater is the first of three summer tournaments held in July. Its Las Vegas Legacy tournament is set for July 18-21, with registration currently still open until the end of the week. The last of the series of tournaments is the Hoopsteria event on July 25-28.
