Nike’s New Air Zoom Hyperslide Brings Heat and Vibration Recovery Shoes

Nike is bringing recovery technology to athletes’ feet with the new Air Zoom Hyperslide, a heated recovery slide developed with Hyperice that combines Nike’s Air Zoom comfort with customizable heat and vibration features. Designed for runners, athletes, and anyone spending long hours on their feet, the new footwear aims to help athletes recover faster after training and competition.

“Athletes leave everything on the field, and the approach to recovery needs to meet them at the same level,” says Tobie Hatfield, Senior Director of Athlete Innovation, Nike. “With the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, we wanted to create a solution that kickstarts recovery the moment you power it up — helping athletes feel more relaxed, restored and ready to take their performance to the next level.”
These slides combine Nike’s Air Zoom plush comfort with Hyperice’s heat- and vibration-focused Venom technology to relax the feet, reduce tension, and jump start recovery.
The shoe is equipped with a Hyperslide pod located on the top adjustable strap. This rechargeable and removable pod allows for manual temperature control with a right-side button and vibration control via the left-hand button. Consumers can also control the recovery shoes via an app that allows them to start and stop sessions and adjust the heat and vibration intensity when wearing the slides.
The pod delivers three levels of heat (reaching 117°F / 47°C) and three levels of vibration, with each session lasting 15 minutes.

It is recommended that users wear socks with these recovery slides.
According to Nike, very aspect of the innovation and design is informed by feedback from both elite and everyday athletes.

The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide will be available beginning September 29 in select markets at Nike.com, Hyperice.com, and select retail locations globally.
