Walnut Creek Aquanut Synchro Swimmers Go International This Summer!

The Walnut Creek Aquanuts competitive program is proud to send swimmers ages 11-17 all over the world this summer! 20 members head to the Junior Olympics in Riverside, California June 31-July 8 to compete against top teams from around the country. The club’s 13-15A team will compete at the Italian National Championships in Bari, Italy June 29-July 2. In addition, athletes Yara Elian of Walnut Creek and Sophia Kong of Moraga will train with the 13-15 National Team and compete at the Comen Cup in Mealhada, Portugal. Please join us in wishing them all good luck this summer!

I interested in trying synchronized swimming, the Walnut Creek Aquanuts hold four “Try-It” days in summer and Fall? We have opportunities just for you and right around the corner!

July 1,  July 29,  September 2,  September 4. Registration is $10 for a 90 min session 

In addition, WCA offers Trainee Sessions. Each session runs 4-5 weeks. 

Trainee Sessions are for ages 4 and up who are new to Synchronized Swimming. Swimmers must be comfortable in deep water and able to swim 25 yards. 

Sessions available for online registration are:

July 3-July 27, 2017 and July 31-September 3, 2017

Trainees will have the opportunity to swim in the WCA Fall Show August 31-September 3, 2017 at the Clark Memorial Swim Center in Walnut Creek.
