WEEKEND UPDATES:
Four US Swimmers Add To Medal Haul At UANA Pan American Championships and
US 12 & Under Team Wins Silver
Four more U.S. national team members found themselves on the podium Friday at the UANA Pan American Synchronized Swimming Championships in Santiago Chile.
Megumi Field (Cerritos, Calif.) earned another gold medal, this time in the 12 & Under solo final. She finished with 133.0167 total points, with 66.9167 points in figures and 66.1000 in the free final. Field won gold in duet with teammate Sarine Cho on Thursday.
Jade Low (Yorba Linda, Calif.) and Elizaveta Polyakova (Sammamish, Wash.) won silver in the 13-15 duet final with 137.0040 points, totaling 66.3040 points in figures and 70.7000 in free.
Teammate Victoria Zimm (Gilbert, Ariz.) won bronze in the 13-15 solo final. She scored 66.2472 points in figures and 69.8667 in the free final.
The 12U and 13-15 team finals are scheduled for Saturday. (See medal update next page)
Competing for Team USA at the UANA Pan American Championships are U.S. Junior National Team member Emmanuella Tchakmakjian (Lafayette, Calif.), who won a bronze medal in the junior solo final on Thursday, and members of the 13-15 National Team 2 and 12 & Under National Team:
