Berkeley Water Polo Star Georgia Tomasik

SportStar of the Week — Georgia Tomasik, Berkeley Water Polo, Senior

Georgia Tomasik has been a driving force for a very good Berkeley Yellow Jackets water polo team this fall. Through her first 16 games, Georgia had 78 goals for an average of 4.9 per game. She also assisted on 24 goals for 102 total points (6.4 per game). This earn Tomasik SportStar of the Week honors.

Defense doesn’t lose her impact either. For example, Tomasik had 51 steals through her first 16 contests.

As of Oct. 22, Berkeley had an overall record of 11-7 and was 5-2 in West Alameda County Conference play. The North Coast Section Div. I playoffs will begin Nov. 6.
