Founder Bill Grant Brings a “Who’s Who” of Wrestling every year to the Monterey Peninsula. At 41 Years, the 2019 edition is as star-studded as ever.

SportStars INSIDER, Al Fontes (The California Wrestler Editor in Chief) wrote a historical perspective of the Monterey Clinic of Champions this past August, which can be read here in the MARINES FIGHTING SPIRIT High School Wrestling pages. In it, Al outlines the list of Olympic and World Team member presenters.

Wrestling’s Grandest Stage

Many remember as a kid watching the USA compete on the worlds largest stage in Olympic Roman Greco wrestling. The men, many of whose names we never could quite pronounce, but whom we sat in awe of, will be here. The band, as they say, will be in some hallowed and historic surroundings.
