Brady Kasper, Carmel
Brought up as a freshman two years ago to play special teams, Kasper will be a starter on both sides of the ball this fall for the Padres.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound linebacker will anchor the defense as a run stuffer, who can also drop back and serve as a nickel back in passing situations.
Christian Campos, Alisal
Opponents should expect a heavy dose of Campos running the ball, as he averaged 14 carries a game in a shortened spring season, finishing with nearly 200 yards in three games.
A sideline-to-sideline linebacker, Campos will help solidify the front seven for Alisal, utilizing his keen whereabouts on the field and natural instincts in pursuing anyone with the ball.
