Harvard Women’s Volleyball 2024 Schedule Includes November Playoffs For Tournament Spot

Harvard announced the schedule for its women’s volleyball 2024 season. Starting at the end of September, the women of the Harvard Crimson team play nine teams starting this fall followed by two invitationals and then playoffs that run mid-November. The Crimson will compete for another Ivy League Tournament spot, coming off its explosive 2023 season as they finished 15-9 with a tournament win.
The 2024 season includes a buzzed-about freshman class of athletes, despite losing seven seniors from the previous season.
The women’s volleyball 2024 season starts September 6 at the Malkin Athletic Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The team will compete against Stonehill College. On September 7 it competes against Merrimack College and the University of New Hampshire in non-conference games.
Harvard then plays two tournament away games, competing against the University of Rhode Island on September 12 and Delaware State on September 20.
The women’s volleyball team theme goes head-to-head against Stony Brook, Northern Illinois University, NJIT, and George Washington.
On September 27, an Ivy title is at stake as the Harvard Crimson takes on Big Green of Dartmouth. This is a home game.
Harvard also hosts Columbia University on October 4 and Cornell University on October 5 at home games.
Then it’s back on the road for a whole weekend of matches on October 11 and 12 of 2024. The team plays against Princeton and then Penn State.
The Crimson then are back on home turf to compete against Yale on October 18 and Brown on October 19.
Then the team competes against the Ivy teams again through the middle of November in its quest for the Ivy League Tournament.
Women’s Volleyball Playoffs Schedule
Playoffs are set from November 22 and 23 for the Ivy League Tournament Semifinals and Championship. The 2024 NCAA Tournament is held from December 5 through December 7, followed by NCAA Regionals from December 14 through December 14. The NCAA Final Four and National Championship is on December 21 in Louisville, Ky.
