The Road Runners Club of America is set to help runners take one step closer to going pro.

Help by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), the Run Pro Camp takes place July 11 to July 13, 2024, in Arlington, Virginia.

The RunPro summer camp will educate runners on what it is like to make running a career. Runners will leave the camp better prepared for a career in the sport. The camp includes discussing topics like topics funding and sponsorship opportunities, and community involvement.

Runners will get the chance to meet other professional runners and the top coaches along with representation types. The camp also goes over USATF rules for professional athletes, as well as prize money and travel expenses that come with elite races.

Runners must outline their collegiate experience including the name of their coach and PRs for race distances they compete in. The application asks the runner to detail highlights from specific meets, as well as other distance events records such as as 10 Mile, 5K road, 1 mile road races.

To apply, runners must complete their NCAA eligibility by June 30 or have completed their eligibility within the last 24 months. Runners must be U.S., citizens or must live in the U.S., and have their N-400 form submitted to the USCIS.

Those selected will be notified in mid-June if they are invited to the RunPro Camp. Only 15 to 20 runners will attend the camp.  The RRCA will give a stipend for the runners to attend that includes lodging, meals, and travel reimbursement.

The deadline to apply for RRCA RunPro Camp is June 15.
