The Far Western National Qualifier: NCVA’s Biggest Tournament of the Season

Volleyball teams from across the country are about to gather in Reno, Nevada, for one of the most exhilarating volleyball tournaments of the year—the Far Western National Qualifier.

Hosted by the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA), this prestigious girls’ event spans three weekends, bringing together 500 teams at each tournament, as well as over 30,000 attendees.

The Far Western National Qualifier tournament kicks off its first weekend of matches on April 4 to April 6, followed by a second weekend of tournaments on April 11 to 13, and April 25 to 27.

The Ultimate Volleyball Showdown

As one of the biggest National Qualifiers of the season, NCVA’s Far Western tournament offers players the chance to compete at the highest level, with elite teams battling for coveted bids to the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship.

The intensity on the courts is unmatched, providing volleyball athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills.  

The first weekend of Far Western includes the 18 Prime Division, the higher level of competition for 1 player, as well as Select 16 and 17’s.

April 11 weekend includes the American 11-14 age division, followed by the 14 Open, USA, Liberty, and No Dinx & 15’s divisions on the final weekend of tournaments on April 25-27.
