On Saturday, July 11th the national Southern Bowl Tryout Tour is heading to the Bay Area for a once in a lifetime opportunity to try out for the 2016 Southern Bowl, where two rigorously selected teams will battle it out in New Zealand in front of 76,000 fans at Auckland’s Eden Park and Wellington’s Westpac Arena, which will be broadcasted around the world. We would love to arrange an interview with you and the Southern Bowl North America Director Jarin Giesler to discuss the upcoming Bay Area Tryout event which offers a new opportunity for athletes to showcase their talent to NFL Scouts, coaches and teams, along with the opportunity to bring America’s Game into new parts of the world. Anyone is eligible to make the cut, they just have to prove their skill and we would love to work with you to announce the Bay’s Tryout Tour stop. Tryouts will begin at 9am on July 11th at San Jose State University’s Spartan Stadium and signup information can be found at www.southernbowl.com. On March 5th & 12th in 2016, New Zealand will host its first live American football games at Eden Park in Auckland where 46,000 fans will witness the first installment of the inaugural Southern Bowl and at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand in front of 36,000 fans. The Southern Bowl has partnered with Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand, Auckland Tourism, Wellington Tourism and other major commercial partners. Additional cities included on the national Tryout Tour include New York City, Baltimore, Las Vegas and more.
