What would you tell your younger self so that you could get more out of a camp?

Well, just to remember that you are constantly being evaluated. In addition, even the small things matter a lot. Like hustling on and off the field, can go a long way in a coach’s eyes.

What’s one thing you learned at a camp or clinic that has stayed with you, and that you apply today?

To have the ability to control what you can control. Furthermore, there are a lot of different things in the sport of baseball that are completely out of your own personal control. Good or bad, it is important to focus on controllable occurrences. Plus, do not get caught up in negative outcomes that are out of your hands.

If you were a camp director for your sport, what’s the rest thing you’d want your camp to have?

A competitive atmosphere that prepares kids for the next level and provides them with insight. Also, information of what it takes to become a full-time college athlete.
