When he picked against Downey High of Modesto in the Week 7 Thursday Pick ‘Em episode, SportStars editor Chace Bryson vowed to bring Downey quarterback Conner Stoddard on to the show if the Knights won. And they did — topping Turlock 24-22 thanks to a last-minute scoring drive led by Stoddard. So Chace and co-host Ben Enos welcomed the senior standout for a talk about the comeback win, his chemistry with his receivers, and what’s been behind the team’s 7-0 start.

Chace and Ben also break down their games from last week, including thoughts on St. Mary’s-Stockton finally besting De La Salle in a 45-35 barnburner. The hosts also dive into thoughts on some of NorCal’s top leagues in a round of “Fill The Gap.”
