Maloney’s Horses and Ponies Riding School
Maloney's Horses and Ponies Riding School offers outstanding equestrian services in a beautiful ocean view location. Blue Moons Summer Horsemanship Camp is for children ages 7-15 with or without previous riding experience. Every day, you will have a one hour riding lesson. You will learn to groom, saddle, and handle horses on the ground. More advanced campers will study nutrition, shoeing and horse psychology. We offer camp programs and schooling horse shows. Instructors, Cheryl Maloney, (former Program Director of Stanford Riding School for 12 years) and Sara Williams worked together at Stanford Equestrian Center for several years before relocating to Half Moon Bay. They bring to the table diverse theories from many aspects of horsemanship with a deep focus on each student’s personal achievement, effectiveness, and advancement, thus far surpassing simple equitation instruction.
Regardless of experience, we welcome all students with a genuine interest in riding and horsemanship, and will work to develop a rewarding relationship.
