Although we are a competitive program, these local fields help give our program a communal and family feel as we play a large percentage of our games in Walnut Creek, thereby reducing travel time for our families. Divisions:
Academy (7-8 yr olds)
The Walnut Creek Bulldawgs are organizing an Academy for current 7 and 8 year old baseball players looking to further develop their skills going in the 2017 season and onward.
The Mustang program is primarily developmental as it introduces young baseball players to “real baseball” with stealing, pitching out of the stretch, lead-offs, hit-and-run play, etc. Divisions:
Academy (7-8 yr olds)
Bronco (11-12 yr olds)
The Bronco division usually has one 11U and two 12U teams. The 11U team and one 12U team will play 35 to 40 games, participate in Pony-style league play, and enter 3 to 4 tournaments (including our Memorial tournament).
Pony (13-14 yr olds)
The Pony division usually has two teams, usually consisting of a 13U and a combined 13U/14U team. These teams focus on development and learning skills to put the players in the best position to compete for a spot on the 14U team or prepare for next season's high school baseball team.
