Peloton is bringing the next generation of its personalized technology to at-home workouts. After teasing a big announcement on its social media channels, the fitness company announced on Wednesday the launch of its Cross Training Series with customized feedback when lifting weights and workout recommendations.

The Cross Training Series is powered by Peloton IQ, its technology that builds workouts, checks form, counts reps, suggests weights, analyzes performance, and creates custom training plans.

This addition to the Peloton platform further made fitness more personal for its users with its insights and guidance to help athletes and users on their strength training journey.

While in a workout, Peloton IQ will provide audio cues like better control over the reps and suggest when it’s time to increase weight for movements. Users have the option to pace themselves or be led by an instructor.

Peloton users can choose the muscle group, class time, and difficulty level, and Peloton IQ will generate a workout without having to browse through classes.

The new technology integrates with Apple Health, Garmin, or Fitbit accounts to further analyze data and provide recommendations.

Peloton IQ is available on all Peloton devices, but with limited features. The more advanced features are only accessed on Cross Training Bike+, Tread+, and Row+. As always, users need an All-Access membership to view the content. This is because this equipment has the movement-tracking camera needed to provide form feedback and measure weights.

There is no additional charge—besides the Peloton membership—for the feature.
