Sierra Canyon topples top-seeded Ontario Christian to take home second CIF-Southern Section Open Division girls basketball crown

Jerzy Robinson had 32 points and 12 rebounds, with Emilia Krstevski and Delaney White both scoring 10 points apiece for third-seeded Sierra Canyon in a 69-62 girls basketball victory against top-seeded Ontario Christian in the CIF-Southern Section Open Division championship at Toyota Arena in Ontario.
The Trailblazers won their second Open Division title in program history, the first achieved in 2023.
Kaleena Smith led Ontario Christian, which was seeking back-to-back Open Division titles, by producing 30 points, six rebounds and five assists, with Dani Robinson adding 16 points for the Knights.
Sierra Canyon, which lost twice in the postseason last year against Ontario Christian, earned its first win against the Knights since 2024.
