WINTER BEGINNER CAMPS.Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can’t ride your bike!
Participants learn mountain bike basics ranging from how to climb and descend, cornering in switchbacks, proper body balancing on their bikes, and many other helpful skills. Camps are held at our friend’s private property in Petaluma, which means we’ll have camping and use of the sweet trails all to ourselves! These camps are a great way for beginner riders of to improve their skills, hang out with riders from other schools and have a good time riding bikes! Hosted by NorCal League staff, guest skills instructors, and top-notch League coaches, these camps are a great way to kick off the season.
MENDOCINO DEVELOPMENT CAMP, June 12-16, 2017, Mendocino Woodlands Camp
There is something pretty dang special about the big redwood forests and the loamy single track in Mendocino. We’ve had camps up here for 5 years and are excited to share this special shreddy spot with riders in the NorCal League again. Participants will leave with more confident bike handling skills, and come home with that campfire scent on their cuff and at least a few new friends. Registration open in March.
