Campers in Leadership Training (CILTs) participate in leadership lessons focused on working with youth and learning general job skills. Lessons are applied throughout the day as CILTs learn to assist in classes and help keep camp running.
CILTs are considered campers who are in a leadership training role, and therefore pay a fee ranging from $200 to $425, depending upon the program and session. Individuals who participate receive an evaluation of work place strengths and skills and coaching on how to maximize those strengths.
Upon completion, participants also receive a UC Berkeley Leadership Certificate. This is a leadership program. Each participant is expected to work hard and project enthusiasm on all assigned tasks.
