My goal for FastBreak Camps is to prepare young athletes to compete at the next level. Your child will learn the fundamentals of basketball, will gain valuable game experience, and will work with some of the area’s most knowledgeable basketball players. He/she will be exposed to drills that are used at the high school and college level.

Gartner’s basketball experience includes playing at the high school & college level. She’s instructed numerous prestigious AAU clinics, and assisted at many local and regional basketball camps. She has spent the past 25 years coaching basketball at Carondelet with 20 of those years as head varsity coach. Her varsity teams have won the league and section titles 12 times in the last 13 years.

There are five week-long sessions available. For grades 2-9th; . If your daughter wants to learn and/or improve her basketball fundamentals and skills while having fun; then FastBreak Basketball camp is the answer.

Offensive Skills include ball handling, passing , moving without the ball, offensive rebounding, post moves, perimeter one-on-one moves, hot to set and use screens, shooting technique and more.

Defensive Skills include post and perimeter defense, how to close-out on a shooter, wing denial, weak-side positioning, taking a charge and other man-to-man concepts.
