VOTE: From July 5-16, Readers Can Choose Between Six Of Our Favorite ’21-’22 Images To Determine The Yearbook Special Edition Cover •

With our recently released June/July Digital Issue, we essentially wrapped up the 2022 spring season with our All-NorCal Baseball/Softball honors. And now we’re preparing for our annual look back at the full academic year of athletics with our Yearbook Special Edition. And it needs a cover! So welcome to the Yearbook Special Edition Cover Vote.

Per tradition, our Yearbook issue will include our Year-In-Pictures photo pages, a look back at our final rankings from football, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, baseball and softball, and our annual Bay Area 75 rankings of the Bay’s top athletes from the past academic year.

But let’s choose a cover, shall we?

We’ve chosen six images, with three Bay Area and three Sac-Joaquin schools represented. The vote will end at noon on July 16. You can vote below once every 6 HOURS. (Also, be sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram for additional chances to vote). And … GO!

I think some kind of a collage that shows multi sports on the cover that would reflect a yearbook.

So the real votes mean nothing as long as you get the instagram likes? Got it

The contest ran 11 days in which you could vote 4x per day. The Instagram bonus vote lasted 10 hours and you could vote only once.

Next time, we’ll do the instagram vote earlier. We do recognize that it was a serious shot in the arm for some late in the process.

Some of us don’t do Instagram! As far as I am concerned this is extremely unfair!

We see your point and understand. We’ve done social media bonus votes in the past as a fun way to vote in more places. This is the first time that it’s swung the results so dramatically. We will consider placing a cap on those votes in the future (example: Earn up to 200 bonus votes via Instagram or Twitter). The point is to use the bonus vote in addition to voting in the regular contest. Not to just count on the social media.
