Peloton Now Provides Pet Workouts For Dog Parents

Our dogs are not just pets—they are more like family. This means constantly spending time with and sharing experiences with our furry friends. Peloton is making us the best pet parents we can be because it just launched its first-ever pet-themed workouts.

Peloton’s Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection includes a curated collection of classes that allow pets to join in with their owners. We’ve all laid down on a yoga mat to have our pooch come on over and climb on top for some cuddles. Now dogs can join in on yoga with their “parent” without the user feeling like they are interrupting.

The collection provides another way Peloton users can bond with their pets. It features outdoor workouts that take your dog walk to the next level. This includes a 10-minute outdoor run because what better running partner do we have than our four-legged friends?

Even if not using the Peloton app, don’t forget to set your smartwatch and log those steps taken when walking the dog because all exercise counts.

Those looking for a challenge can take the 10-minute strength training classes alongside your pet. There is also a 10-minute meditation class offered in the collection.

Andy Speer, Nico Sarani, and Jess Sims lead the Pet-Friendly Fitness Classes classes. Of course, all these instructors are pet parents.

Peloton’s Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection launched Thursday, June 6, and is now available on demand.

To celebrate the launch, Peloton partnered with Canada Pooch to sell new pet accessories. This includes a waterproof leash and cooling bandana that will come in handy for those summer walks or that 10-minute dog run. The co-branded pet accessories are available on Peloton’s website.
