For all the significant achievements produced by the senior class in the Etiwanda High girls basketball program, the group added another remarkable accomplishment in Saturday’s nonleague game against Rancho Christian.

Etiwanda had 37 points in the second quarter and cruised to a 109-77 victory on Senior Night, accumulating the most points in a game for the program since scoring 110 in a win against Pomona Garey in 2007.

The combined 186 points rank third for a girls basketball game in California prep history, according to Cal-Hi Sports.

Aliyahna “Puff” Morris, a Cal commit, had 19 of her 29 points in the first half, to go along with four assists, with LSU signee and fellow McDonald’s All-American Grace Knox adding 28 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots for Etiwanda (21-4), which won its 17th in a row.

Aliyah Phillips contributed 15 points and five rebounds, with Shaena Brew adding 13 points and eight assists for Etiwanda, which used its second-quarter surge to build a 59-41 halftime lead.

Julia Wilson led Rancho Christian (20-7) with a game-high 35 points and 11 rebounds, with Ebony Taylor-Smith scoring 15 points, including four 3-point field goals.

Rancho Christian outscored Etiwanda in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 80-66 entering the fourth, but never got closer than 11 points in the second half.

Hailey Whitman added nine points and Bella Cosme scored eight points for Rancho Christian, which surrendered 29 fourth-quarter points to Etiwanda.

Rancho Christian concludes its regular-season schedule Monday with a showdown against Moreno Valley (21-6) that will decide the Ivy League title.

Etiwanda looks to extend its Baseline winning streak to 146 in a row Wednesday against Los Osos (18-8) in the league championship game.

Etiwanda’s league streak ranks No. 6 all-time in the state and is the third-longest active run by a girls basketball program in California, trailing Long Beach Poly with 209 straight Moore League victories and Alhambra Mark Keppel at 148 consecutive Almont League wins.
